The effort to impart knowledge in a lasting way is itself based on vast amounts of knowledge – about target groups and learning formats, about the management of learning processes, and about linkages with organisational objectives. Complexity characterises the entire process, and differences of opinion are a part of everyday life.
As a specialist in eLearning and learning management, and as a mediator specialising in conflict management in IT projects, against the backdrop of this complexity I help you stay on track, or get back on track - and find the track if you should happen to lose sight of it altogether. I accompany you all along the path of imparting knowledge, through to change management and mediation in the event of conflict. My approach: potential-oriented and holistic. My methods: versatile, flexible and customised, coupled with a meditative basic attitude and a healthy pragmatism.
What features would identify
the solution that suits you?
When efficiently run, management of learning offerings ensures smoothly operating bookings, feedback and support, not only for IT but for technical issues as well. In the best case, this management approach escapes the learner's notice altogether. Management functions perfectly if the personnel-development processes downstream are clearly defined and actively practiced on a daily basis, with clear indicators of success and efficient controlling in place. I myself was in charge of this demanding task in a major corporation for a period of years, and so I am familiar with all the challenges involved. Working together, we will certainly find a path that suits your company!
Naturally, any learning format can be used individually to acquire knowledge. This calculable configuration might grow too monotonous after a time, however. A blend of different learning formats can accommodate a variety of different learning styles. In the development of blended learning scenarios, my main focus is on an optimally co-ordinated blend of online and offline learning formats – to suit the existing framework conditions, the target group and the topic at hand. This way, your investments do a more effective job of paying for themselves. I would be pleased to provide you with an overview of all of the conventional learning formats; this is how I help you create blended learning concepts of your own.
WBT, micro content, info graphics, knowledge databases: the range of available eLearning formats is constantly growing. But which is the right format for your needs, your budget and the space and time available to you? What should you consider when selecting a provider? What information do the various stakeholders require - such as executives, works council members, data-protection officers and in-house IT? With more than 15 years' field experience and market expertise in the field of eLearning, I am here to assist you as you set out on your own, promising path.
When it comes to learning,
flexibility is given top priority.
One aspect is often underestimated in eLearning projects or IT projects: clear communication of the processes, and visibility of the services from which the company benefits as a result. Not to mention training of the various groups of users and operators.
A successful approach to change management incorporates these elements right from the outset and continues even after implementation has been completed. This approach contains a continuous information and communication concept, particularly for stakeholders such as executives and works council, as well as for the main users of the new knowledge or new technology. Firmly anchoring projects and their results in a company ensures growth in use and, by extension, achievement of ROI.
When it comes to change concepts,
I attach particular importance to considering
the needs of the various target groups involved.
The best solutions are
always the ones you
develop yourself - with the
aid of competent advice.
When it comes to projects in an IT setting, conflicts are never hard to find. When so many parties converge - with their own points of view, interests and requirements - differences of opinion are inevitable. How can a project nevertheless be brought to a successful conclusion?
A constructive approach to this heterogeneity results in two important cornerstones for success: new perspectives, and a holistic, shared approach. Based on my many years of experience with a multitude of IT projects, I am familiar with the most frequent sources of conflict. In combination with my mediation skills, I'll be glad to help you identify conflict potentials at an early stage and take effective countermeasures to avert them. And in case of conflict, I’ll be there to help you resolve it, with problem-solving methods that can extend to Mediation.
There's always an alternative
path to the destination.
For many of us, communication in the professional setting takes place primarily via e-mail or in virtual form. We have probably all been annoyed at one time or another about someone else's tone, or about strange or too boorish statements – and reacted by adopting an inappropriate tone or style ourselves. Yet even in the virtual world, it is the tone that continues to make the music.
Because the topic of 'virtual communication' has always been a keen interest of mine and my daily work takes place largely in a virtual and international setting, ever since my training as a mediator I have dealt extensively with the topic of 'virtual communication & dealing respectfully with one another and have been very successful in applying my findings in the field.
If you, too, would like to bring more mutual respect to your everyday encounters in the virtual realm, I can assist you with a variety of offerings that remind you of the things you should bear in mind in every type of virtual communication.
A fact frequently overlooked is
that every computer monitor has
a person sitting in front of it.
I combine 15 years' experience in a major corporation with an international orientation, in medium-sized companies and as a free-lance consultant with distinct field and interdisciplinary skills. In sum: my attitude, characterised by a holistic point of view and a broad base of experience in the business context. I develop the track that's suited to your company through questions designed to investigate your solution. Questions that discover what you really need, along with the factors with which your solution is linked. Questions that clarify how solutions feel, and whether they feel right to you. And with this, I get to the essence of the matter – whatever task I undertake for you.
